I have been dying to try this Pinterest tip I found on carpet stain removal.It's called "miracle carpet stain remover" Only our bedrooms have carpet and I wish I didn't even have that much. I hate it, and it looks horrible...so anything I can do to help it look better, I am willing to try. You only need 2 ingredients: ammonia and an iron.
Well, technically you need towels too...
Here is the before picture of a stain going into E's room.
I put equal parts ammonia and water into my spray bottle and saturated the stain. Then, cover the stain and iron away!
Within a few seconds, this is what the towel looked like. NASTY! I repeated it once more....
and the stain was GONE!
like....totally gone!
Jack has a rug in his room, that shows spots/stains really bad.
only 1 treatment on this one and it looked great!

2 things to keep in mind: 1) your house will smell like it is 1993 and you are getting a BIG OLE PERM. I once got a perm just on my bangs....not one of my smartest decisions. 2) do not try to use the clean corners/edge of your towel at the end of the process, instead of just getting another towel....because chances are you will iron your carpet and melt it onto your iron. There is no "miracle carpet unmelter"
