Day 116
We went to Veterans Park this morning to burn off some energy---I wish it wasn't quite as far for us because the kids love it there, and there are so many parts to explore.
The kids loved the soldier statues
Reid and Jack also found some puddles to jump and splash in....

especially Jack...he inspected each one carefully--paying closest attention to the marine, of course---Daddy :) Which I know is not this guy.

Day 115
Pinterest pin of the week....bacon cheddar potato rounds!
I made these tonight for dinner....yes, it's technically just an appetizer probably, but we had it for dinner :)
Here's all you need:
It also calls for chopped green onion, but I didn't have any....
Slice your potatoes into 1/2 in rounds, and brush both sides with butter. Bake at 400 for 15 min on each side or golden brown on both sides.
Remove and sprinkle bacon and cheese- put back into oven until cheese is melted. Serve with your dip of choice (ranch for me, ketchup for Jerry and kiddos)
Start to finish 35 minutes...and it was YUMMY!

Day 114
I am so thankful that my kids get along a lot of the time. I know that sometime in the not so distant future they will maybe want nothing to do with each other---E will be too big to play baby games, watch baby shows or too girl to play with boy toys. But for now---they like the same things and play with the same toys. Now, please don't think they don't scream and fight and cry---because they do! But it's not ALL the time :) This morning after waking them up, I caught them pretending with the Wiggles. The Wiggles will never die at our house, it seems. Which, actually, is fine with me. I much prefer them over the heinous shows on Nick and Disney (non preschool). I've seen them twice in concert and had a great time both shows. I <3 Anthony! ha

Day 113
Today was Elizabeth's music presentation at school. They played some instruments for us, demonstrated pitch and tempo and did some cute songs with motions. The good news, I got a front row seat. The bad news: she was on the back row the whole time, so not great for picture taking.

I am loving the new service our church is doing on Sunday nights...our message today and tonight in more than one setting and multiple times led me towards tonight's blog post. If you are looking for something new, something different, or even if you aren't sure you're looking at all...I invite you to come with me one Sunday--Small group at 9:45, modern worship at 11:02 and our new service at 6:30, Amplified Worship. Those of you that were with me at any of these times, yea for stepping out of my zone and into our new zone!
